Kapok care instructions: – Only wash your kapok product if absolutely necessary (kapok is naturally antibacterial). – If you do need to wash it, wash at 30°C – ideally a short program with a high spin cycle (min. 1200 rpm). – Kapok cannot tolerate being soaking wet for long, as it can lose its structure and the natural color may leach out because it is not bleached. – Tumble dry immediately after washing on high heat, and continue until completely dry (this may require several cycles). – Spot cleaning and airing out are often sufficient for daily care and maintenance.
